Fatty Vacation
I don't think I've ever mentioned it here on le blog before but I work part-time in Fat Face.
A clothes shop with a difference where the focus is on living life outside the boundaries of 9-5 and embracing the adventures that come your way.
Bearing that in mind, we, as a crew came together before a night out to find out the surprise our manager (and I) had in store for us.
Each crew member was styled in the new high summer lines that had just launched and making use of our oh-so-awesome props and backdrops we had a mini photoshoot in the basement.
Blue-steel on and here were just some of the results!
It was so fun and there are plenty more where that came from!
Entitled 'Fatty Vacation!'

Pristine in Pastels
I am amidst preparations for a photo shoot tomorrow which I am very excited about!
It is quite an on-trend theme with a pastel colour palette taking precedence but I want to give it a little bit of a contemporary edge with accessories and varying textures and so on.
So I thought I would share just a few of my inspiration images with you simply because the colours are lovely and oh so appropriate for the beautiful summer day we are having here in Dublin.
Looking forward to a good day of shooting tomorrow.
In the meantime check out my guest post for WhatWillIWearToday published here today. It's a tad controversial but let me know what you think!

Florals in Spring...groundbreaking
Sunday's with the family have long been the same, we go to Mass, go for a run and then go for brunch.
Unfortunately for me, no running was to be done today. Having injured my back the other week I have taken to the nickname 'Cripple!'
I decided to go for a stroll around Oak Park Forest in Carlow and it was a beautiful morning (between showers) and I snapped a few pictures of the beautiful scenery and I also managed to do a few outfit snaps.
It certainly has been a while since my last outfit post, something I am very disappointed about but hopefully this will get me back on track.
Hope you like!

Writings on the Wall
So this may not be a 'style' specific post but my goodness did I stumble upon a wonderland today.
A graffiti wonderland that is.
A creative hub for urban art, this collection of murals was just a segment of what I witnessed in an inner city Dublin car park.
Yes, a car park!
It was breath-taking.
And of course I had to take photos.
Admittedly my mind started racing as to when I could revisit this graffiti heaven, and I really, really, really want to use it as a backdrop for an upcoming fashion shoot!!!
Let the planning commence.

A True Master
What does it take to be the best? What sets you apart from the rest of the pack? What is it that makes magic a stark reality? What makes you the master of your trade?
Questions of success, questions that any individual will ask themselves to be the best that they can be. In the world of fashion, they are extremely relevant. What determines one persons talent over another? (If anyone has the answers, you can send them my way.)
You may ask what has sparked this inquisitive confrontation.
The answer, Patrick Demarchelier.
Above are some of his works of art depicting Dior haute couture as featured in the new book Dior Couture. Decadent shots, glorious images, wistful surroundings and magnificent fashion, Demarchelier is truly the master of his passion.
I can't put my finger on one exact reason as to what makes him the best.
He just is.
His work is magic.
For that he must be acclaimed.
