'You know you love me...ex-oh-ex-oh'

So needless to say, the season finale of Gossip Girl was nothing less than epic. Being without les beaux garcons and the hot babes for less than two weeks now, I am self-admittedly suffering from withdrawal symptoms. No weekly fashion fix from the streets of the Upper East Side, no Lonely Boy or Nate to day dream about, just… the most hanging of cliff hangers, left unresolved until next autumn. The suspense is torturous!

I have opted for my daily dose of GG by taking a look at Blake Lively’s (aka Serena) style over the years since she shot to fame on the show.

I adore her risqué, carefree yet glamorous style and these are some of my favourite pics of the darling who is Karl Lagerfeld’s new Bessie Mate, face of Chanel, and an overall HOT BABE!

From surfer chic to haute couture, this lady knows how to put her best red-soled foot forward.

Enjoy!

Youth in a Bottle

We all want to know the secret to achieving perfect skin, preventing wrinkles and avoiding premature ageing. The list of products with youth proclaiming initiatives are two a penny but do any of them actually work?

I am always sceptical about trying new products for fear of the effect they might have on my skin. I tend to err on the side of caution and opt for 100% natural products knowing that what I am about to apply to my skin is not a cocktail of chemicals.

When a friend of a friend hailed Trilogy's Rosehip Oil I had a sudden urge to try it. That same friend told me of a Greek woman she knew, who was fast approaching 70 with skin as supple and as clear as an18 year old - the results of using natural rosehip oil for as long as she could remember! Not an engrained wrinkle in sight! I was convinced.

Trilogy's Rosehip Oil is certified organic and is one small percentage of all-natural beauty products on the market. The clinically tested oil has shown to help minimise the appearance of wrinkles, smooth skin and improve dramatically the skins moisture levels. This lightweight, non-greasy, golden oil contains Omega 3, 6 & 9, essential fatty acids and antioxidants to restore optimum skin health.

All you need is three drops to smooth evenly all over the skin. I like to use an extra drop after this paying particular attention to the eye area as it is more prone to wrinkles from wearing eye make-up everyday.

The oil can be used as part of your beauty ritual, instead of your daily moisturizer or mixed with a small amount of moisturizer. It gets to work instantly allowing your skin to breathe and feel as soft as ever.

So don't go splashing your pennies on fancy chemical-laden products when this natural alternative does exactly what it says on the label.

Alexander the Great

I’m back, I’m inspired and I’m a working girl! My goodness things have changed over the past few months. Needless to say I have been run off my feet and poor littlemisspinki has suffered as a result.

I am finished life as a college student…sniff sniff tear, and I am now an intern in RTÉ. Going between news, entertainment and fashion, I’m getting a taste of the working world and the inside line to source the best material from around the world.

So this week we saw fashion’s elite turn out in force to celebrate the late ‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’ at the Costume Institute Gala in New York.

The crème de la crème of A-list celebrities, supermodels, fashion designers, socialites, industry professionals and general hot babes were in attendance. My oh my, did they put their best Louboutin adorned foot forward. Karl Lagerfeld, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino were just some of the haute couture designers who came to the gala event. Every Hollywood icon was there to embrace the red carpet in romantic, dreamy gowns, only a peasant like myself could dream of!

I adored Blake Lively’s Grecian enchanted Chanel dress, Gwyneth Paltrow also caught my eye in her gold tone figure hugging number with thigh-high split. My absolute fav, now that’s a toughie…I’m going to have to choose Leelee Sobieski in that crisp cream gown an waisted gold belt, unusual yet classic and elegant. Or maybe, Chanel Iman, in this seasons white? I can't choose. Saying that, I loved most dresses and the general hot babes on show! The style was incredible. I was drooling seeing picture after picture. Jealous much? Me? Never!!

Nude, neutral hues were to be seen in abundance...this makes me very happy.

I threw in a pic of Chace Crawford for good measure - Ladies feast those eyes!

I can’t even imagine how spectacular the star-studded event must have been. For the past week I have been dragging my feet as I daydream about the day when I will own such a gown and appear on the arm of Mr. Lagerfeld himself…sigh!

Who was your favourite on the night???
